>FunnyFace Beauty Blog- Dare to Wear Charity Challenge: For Japan

You all know I adore playing with makeup. This way, that way… I love it.
And while I’m following more and more people on Twitter, there’s a lot more going on in the Twitterverse I try to catch. While I don’t see it all… I try my best to at least scan through tweets I’ve missed. This one really struck a cord with me.

FunnyFace Beauty is hosting what I think is a really awesome charity donation. Since this is a challenge, the idea is to come up with a look inspired by Japan. You can check out FFB’s blog for all the details, but the quick rundown is this:
For every entry received of a look done by someone who submits one, her family will donate $10 in their honor via The Canadian Red Cross.
I myself will be submitting a look, and I’m currently thinking of inspirations. If you click the picture to the left, you’ll be brought to the post where there’s more information, and pictures to inspire you to create!!
So here’s to charity, helping others, and getting creative in the process!! I hope to see some of you participate!

  2. >Hello! I am Donna Maria Coles Johnson, founder and CEO of INDIE Beauty Network. I couldn't seem to leave a comment at the post about the new "safe" project so I thought I'd leave one here. I look forward to seeing the project unfold. Nice to meet you!

  3. >Hi Donna! At the top of my page, there's a navigation bar with the page for PSI. The link also is here: http://the-eyes-have-it-all.blogspot.com/p/join-project-safe-indie.htmlWe're going to be revising and editing the wording of what's currently there as some people have somehow drawn the conclusion that we're looking for handouts- which we're not.So if you have any other questions, you can send an email to the group (listed on the page) or to me at trinnity218 at (@) gmail dot (.) comIt's lovely to meet you too!

  4. >Sorry I missed the right places, and thank you for your reply. Funny what people conclude, though these days, there are enough people trying to get something for nothing — that's for sure! I don't have any questions, just wanted to introduce myself and make your acquaintance!

  5. >@Donna: It's alright- I've been trying to make things easier to navigate here! It's been a little confusing until now.The last thing we want to do is "demand" products… So we'll tweak things until they sound right 🙂
